About IT Manager

BT IT Manager comprises 3 primary elements:
- Proactive ICT support
- Reactive PC & server support
- PC and server Hardware equipment supply

Proactive Support (IT Site Manager) requires the customer to have a server on site. A software ‘service agent’ is deployed on the local server which permits monitoring and management of the installation and the peripherals connected to it. With the customer’s permission, BT Service Support Team can remotely interact with the customer’s PC or server to resolve a fault. Incidents that cannot be resolved remotely are fixed on-site at no extra charge.

Reactive Support (IT Support Manager) does not require a server. With the customer’s permission, BT Service Support Team can remotely interact with the customer’s PC or server to resolve a fault. Incidents that cannot be resolved remotely are fixed on-site based on an hourly charge.

Hardware supplied is based on a number of pre-approved configurations supplemented by customer requests for broadband, switches, additional peripherals, installation and IT Manager.
